Jim Porter is a premier guitarist, hailing from Long Island, New York. As a young man, Jim honed his ability and unique style while playing in fusion, classic and progressive rock bands in and around New York City. Since relocating to Arizona, Jim has been active in developing his signature sound blending guitar mixed with synthesizer. He brings this "one-of-a-kind" style to all of his music blending jazz, blues and rock. He plays precision with a smooth and electric vibe!

Chuck Mandich is another Seattle, Washington transplant who has been playing for more than 35 years. While growing up in Auburn, Washington, he started touring with Southbound, a popular regional band he was part of for years. After moving to Arizona in 1985, he has worked with well-known local artists . Known also for his charity work, he is active in the local blues scene and has played with most of the local talent in the valley. Chuck's mix of talent, passion and experience are truly an asset

 

 

 

 

James H. Logan Jr. was born in Philadelphia PA. Relocated to Arizona when he was 29. Started singing as a young child .James was born the eldest of a very musical family.he has played with various bands and groups over the years,.we are so glad to have james, he brings his own style of vocals to the band, It is a joy and pleasure watching him sing and entertain.

 

 

Don Boles . At 15 he auditioned in the Chicago band Black on White, opening for Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, King Crimson, Jefferson Airplane and many others. In Arizona he played keyboards with many Arizona bands including,
Daily Planet in New York. Don (Doc) Boles is the original founding member of Corporate Affair.Don joined Outside The Line in Summer of 2011. We are so blessed to have him in the line up,

 

 

Shaun Erik Johnson born April 2, 1969 in Cleveland, OH. He then relocated to Memphis, Tennessee where he spent most of his time as an Elementary school teacher. Shaun started as a singer before learning to play the bass. Shaun was inspired by Parliament and The Funkedelic group with George Clinton which inspired him to learn to play the bass. Shortly after learning his skill, Shaun joined a band called Soul Outsiders in Memphis. In 2004 Shaun relocated to Phoenix, Arizona and joined a band called Soulful Horizons which later became Soul power Band as the lead singer and bass player. Shaun has now joined Outside The Line in late 2012.

DeAndra L Johnson, better known as "Dee", was born in Phoenix AZ in 1982. She started singing at age 8 in a local church. As her singing career progressed, she performed in various places around the valley. At age 13 she joined a local group called "Los Amigos", who performed all over Phoenix and occasionally out of state. While with Los Amigos she learned to speak spanish and at age 19 met the backing musicians and family of the late international artist Selena and begin touring with them. "The Kumbia Kings" better known as Selena Y Los Dinos, singing spanish music. Since she has won many mariachi contests and had TV shows which aired each weekend called "Este Domingo" and La Taqueria" from 2000 to 20001. Dee is the female lead vocals in Michael Pollack's Corporate Affair Band and she joined Out Side The Line Music Band in January 2012.

Outside the line delivered another dazzling "OSTL" performance, last night. With exciting front vocal harmonies and instrumental solos, the entire band brought their water from the well. Collectively they created a party atmosphere that had people on their feet the entire night. Add to that, the "NO COVER NO WAY" policy at the El Dorado Bar and Grill, we can't imagine this to be anything but the best place in town to enjoy Live Entertainment! - First String Promotions

The band was EXCELLENT! Their performance at the Annual Dinner was praised by many in attendance. Many people asked me where they could go to hear the band perform again. Wow!!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!!! Oustide the Line ROCKED THE HOUSE!!!!!!!! We booked them for our annual employee appreciation party on May 19th .....(private party outside venue) Not only were they professional, couteous and kind , their talents were PHENOMENAL....the feedback from the party goers was so positive. Just this morning one of the staff expressed how GREAT the band was!!! The lead vocalists OMG!!!!AMAZING!! Male & female, and then the female's sister and husband sang as well, AMAZING!!!! If you are looking for a great band with talent, professionalism and just good down to earth folks , you have book "OUTSIDE THE LINE" you will not be disappointed.
